The Thin Layer – a fieldwork process

The Thin Layer is a body of time-based work drawing on geological thinking to explore behaviour, environment and instability. In geological terms, regolith is the layer of loose material covering the bedrock of a planet and includes dust, soil, broken rock, and other related materials. It is on this thin layer we build our lives.
